Clireca Chrome Extension — LinkedIn Capture

1. Overview
The Clireca Chrome Extension enables recruiters to save LinkedIn profile and job data into their Clireca account with a single user-initiated click. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it. Clireca is a product of Adifice LLC, which acts as the data controller for the information described here.
2. What data we collect
We collect data ONLY when you actively click the “Save to Adifice” button while viewing a LinkedIn profile or job. We do not perform any background collection, automated scraping, or continuous monitoring.
When you click Save, the extension captures publicly visible information from the LinkedIn page you are viewing, including:
For candidate profiles
- Name, headline, current title, current company
- Location (city, state)
- Skills, experience history, education
- Public profile URL and photo URL
For job postings
- Job title, company name, location
- Job description text
- Employment type, requirements
- Public job URL
We do NOT collect: private messages, connection lists, email addresses (LinkedIn does not expose these on profiles), phone numbers, or any information behind LinkedIn login walls that is not visible on the page you are viewing.
3. How we use your data
Captured data is sent directly to your Clireca account, tied to your authenticated user session. It becomes part of your organization's candidate and job database within Clireca.
We do NOT:
- Share captured data with third parties
- Sell any user data
- Use data for advertising
- Aggregate data across users or organizations
- Train AI models on your captured data
4. Authentication
The extension uses per-user API tokens for authentication. Tokens are:
- Generated in Clireca Settings by the user
- Stored locally in your browser's secure extension storage
- Hashed with SHA-256 on our servers (plaintext never persisted)
- Rotatable and revocable by the user at any time
5. Data retention and deletion
Captured data is stored in your Clireca account for as long as your organization maintains the account. You can:
- Delete individual candidates or jobs from your Clireca dashboard
- Revoke your extension access at any time
- Request full account deletion by contacting support@adificetechnologies.com
Deletion requests are processed within 30 days.
6. LinkedIn compliance
The extension operates as a user-initiated single-action save tool. It does not perform automated crawling, bulk collection, or any action that violates LinkedIn's Terms of Service for individual users. Each save is a conscious, deliberate action by the user viewing publicly available content within their own authenticated LinkedIn session.
7. Third-party services
Clireca uses the following third-party services to operate:
- Auth0 (authentication)
- Anthropic (AI processing of captured data — screening, outreach drafts)
- AWS (data storage)
- Railway (application hosting)
Each service has its own privacy policy governing its handling of data.
8. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access all data captured under your account
- Request corrections or updates
- Request deletion
- Export your data in CSV or JSON formats (available via Audit Exports in Clireca)
- Withdraw consent by uninstalling the extension
